UpRoot workshop places

as part of the 2 Degrees Festival by Artsadmin  Places available.  Deadline 23rd April.

This workshop invites participants from any walk of life who may be new to the East End, London or the UK to explore ‘putting down roots’. Over 2 days participants will cultivate notions of uprooting, transplant shock, bedding in, of ‘native’, ‘non-native’ and naturalized species, collectively crafting a nurturing creative space to talk about finding ways to survive and thrive through the medium of plants.  UpRoot accompanies Curious’ new performance Wild Longings, which celebrates diversity and interconnectivity in times of upheaval and change.

This weekend-long workshop is offered free but places are limited.To apply for a place, please send a paragraph of no more than 100 words about why you’d like to take part: email us by 26th April.
